The sooner the better, especially for weddings. Most couples book 6 to 12 months out. For portrait and couples sessions I'd recommend at least 4 to 6 weeks ahead to make sure you get your preferred date.

Portraits and couples sessions are delivered within 4 weeks. Weddings are delivered within 12 weeks. You'll receive a sneak peek within a few days so you don't have to wait too long to see your favorites.

I'm not big on stiff poses but I will give you gentle prompts to keep things feeling natural and easy. Think less "stand here and smile" and more "walk toward each other and just talk." Most people are surprised by how comfortable and fun the session ends up feeling.

Yes! I'm based in MN but always down to travel. Whether it's out of state or across the world, I'm happy to join you wherever your story takes place. The first 50 miles are complimentary and beyond that a travel fee applies. I also offer free sessions in select destinations when you cover travel costs — check out my travel dates on the about page.
